SR:MT has been doing quite well in terms of the overall development of base concepts. Not everything is solidified, but the game is slowly fleshing out into something a bit closer to actually being Build 1 of the game. Am I close enough to release it or make projections on release date? No I am not.
Laughably I once said to expect a possible release date within a two week span. Oh how cute and miserable that statement is. I should learn by now that there is no such thing as a release date announcement that is ever going to be right on the money, until I'm right smack at the end. But even then I'd probably be off by an additional few weeks. Here is some of the things currently on the table in terms of in progress work:
And now for pictures!
No screenshots today, sorry! But once things have gone a bit farther into development, I'll show off the land of Cypris and more of the Barrier Mountains!
See ya guys later!
Opinion is opinion. Respect that, and I will respect you.
Hey all, AoD here. I've not done an opinionated blog or anything before, so this is something new. So I've heard stuff about people asking about the possibility of a Minecraft 2 to XBox, the first thing that comes to mind is why do people think that's even remotely a good idea. It honestly sounds like a complete waste of time, and the only reason for it would be to simply be a cash grab. Which I would never buy.
Minecraft can be added on to plenty in terms of adding new biomes, new gameplay mechanics or even improving AI, but unlike other games where updates only come in the form of new games entirely, Minecraft has a unique advantage of being updated regularly. This alone severely negates the need of a said, 'Minecraft 2.'
I play video games, write, make art, create music, design video games, and have a deep love of fantasy.
